Radio dramatist Orson Welles and members of his company, caused mass hysteria and frightened tens of thousands of listeners causing people to flee from their homes and praying for salvation when the adaptation of H.G. Wells play, War of the Worlds was aired on CBS Radio. The dramatization was so good people mistook the play for newscasts which caused the panic. Its realism convinced many listeners that beings from another planet have landed on earth.

Joke time........

Two nuns, Sister Catherine and Sister Helen, are travelling through Europe in their car.
They get to Transylvania and are stopped at a traffic light.
Suddenly out of nowhere, a tiny little Dracula jumps onto the hood ofthe car and hisses through the windshield.
"Quick, quick!" shouts Sister Catherine. "What shall we do?"
"Turn the windshield wipers on. That will get rid of the abomination," says Sister Helen.
Sister Catherine switches them on, knocking Dracula about, but he clings on and continues hissing at the nuns.
"What shall I do now?" she shouts.
"Switch on the windshield washer. I filled it up with Holy Water at the Vatican," says Sister Helen.
Sister Catherine turns on the windshield washer. Dracula screams as the waterburns his skin, but he clings on and continues hissing at the nuns.
"Now what?"shouts Sister Catherine.
"Show him your cross," says Sister Helen.
"Now you're talking," says Sister Catherine.
She opens the window and shouts, "Fuck off!"

Author and poet Dylan Thomas is born in Swansea, Wales on 27th October 1914. Thomas established himself in 1934 with Eighteen Poems, a collection of emotionally and sexually charged pieces. His writing was celebrated for its forceful sound and rhythm, and the poet was acclaimed for readings of his own work. In 1953, he was on a reading tour of the United States when he died of an alcohol overdose in New York City. His most famous work, Under Milk Wood, which evokes the lives of the inhabitants of a Welsh seaside town, was published posthumously.

21st October 1805

Battle of Trafalgar.

In one of the most decisive battles in history, a British fleet under Admiral Horatio Nelson defeats a combined French and Spanish fleet at the Battle of Trafalgar fought off the coast of Spain. At sea, Lord Nelson and the Royal Navy consistently thwarted Napoleon, who led France to pre-eminence on the European mainland. After the crushing defeat at Trafalgar, Napoleon was forced to abandon his plans for an invasion of England. At the height of the engagement on 21st October, Nelson was mortally wounded while pacing the quarterdeck of the HMS Victory. He died a few hours later, and his body was solemnly brought back to England for burial. In London, a column was erected to his memory in the newly named Trafalgar Square.

Control FREAKS!

Ever wondered why?

In psycology-related slang, control freak is a term for a person who attempts to dictate how everything around them is done. It can also refer to someone with a limited number of things that they want done a specific way; professor of clinical psychology Les Parrott wrote that "Control Freaks are people who care more than you do about something and won't stop at being pushy to get their way."
In some cases, the control freak sees their constant intervention as beneficial or even necessary; this can be caused by feelings of superiority, believing that others are incapable of handling matters properly, or the fear that things will go wrong if they don't attend to every detail. In other cases, they may simply enjoy the feeling of power it gives them so much that they automatically try to gain control of everything around them.
Control freaks can also be motivated by feelings of insecurity, trying to manipulate everything around them in an effort not to be 'found out' for the inferior person they believe themselves to be.

LIAR

13th October 1972

Due to poor visibility, a Uruguayan Air Force plane carrying the Montevideo Old Christians Rugby Club crashes high in the Chilean Andes. Of the 45 people aboard the flight, only 27 survive the crash, and just 16 make it to their rescue 72 days later.
Their secret? Cannibilism.

According to one survivor, "the slight browning of the flesh gave it an immeasurably better flavor, softer than beef but with much the same taste."

False accusations....

OK.... so on Monday of this week a friend (B) decided he wasn't my friend anymore, for reasons (IN MY OPINION) that weren't his own, but we'll not go there.

Now, the person I thought the reasons came from, (A), (and who I also thought was a friend which required serious rethinking.) I told her what I thought of her, in a couple of emails, and decided, if THAT was what a friend did, FUCK 'EM, I didn't want to know her, and washed my hands of her. GOOD RIDDENS TO BAD NEWS!

Now both A and B have blogs, both named similarly, and both having similar content, no surprise there, as they have to do EVERYTHING together....... oops, I might have spoke out of turn there, not to worry.

Now, someone has decided to leave comments on A's blog anonymously, for all any of us know, whoever it is mightn't have an ID???? therefore have no choice but to leave the comments anonymously, but for some reason A decides these comments are MY work......

GET A LIFE!!!!!!! WHY WOULD I WASTE MY TIME ON YOU?????
ANYWAY ASK B WHERE I WAS YESTERDAY!!!!!!

AND IF I WANTED TO WASTE MY TIME, AND HAD SOMETHING DEROGATORY TO SAY TO YOU A, I WOULD BE PROUD TO PUT MY NAME TO IT!!!!!

So look somewhere else to place your blame, you said it yourself on one of your blogs, SO MANY HATERS, it could be any one of them!!!!!! I mean, how many people are there in the world that have access to this site??? For all any of us know, it could be the person sat next to you!!!!!

P.S. I haven't put your names in here, but if you want me to, I will do gladly!

You are The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.
